This web site allows you to download free updates any time day or night for any version of NutriBase that you have purchased.

At CyberSoft, we do not charge annual fees. Both Esha Research (Food Processor) and Axxya Systems (Nutritionist Pro) charge annual fees for continued product support and updates.

Our policy toward updates and upgrades is simple: Updates are free for the version you purchase; upgrades to major new releases are no more than half price. There are no annual fees. If we release a new version within 90 days of your purchase, we will provide the new version at no charge to you. Toll-free phone support (M-F) never expires and email technical support (24/7) never expires.

"Updates" and "Upgrades" are not the same thing. The difference between updates and upgrades is explained below.

Updates - An update is an interim release that fixes bugs, improves performance, enhances usability, updates data, or adds a new feature to an existing version. Version numbers look like v7.0, v.7.01, v.7.02, etc. If your original purchase was for, say, NutriBase 7, then you are entitled to all the updates we release that begin with the number "7." Updates for the the various editions can be downloaded - 24/7 - from our web site at no charge.... just click the Updates link in the upper left corner of every page on this web site. The latest release of the NutriBase 7 update will update all previous versions of NutriBase 7. That is, installing version 7.05 will update NutriBase versions 7.0. 7.01, 7.02, 7.03, or 7.04 - there is no need to install each update in sequence. Bear in mind, however, that a version 7 update will not update NutriBase 6 or older versions... a version 7 update is only capable of updating previous releases of NutriBase 7.

Upgrades An upgrade is a major new release of NutriBase. When we release a major new release, we change the first number in the NutriBase version number. Moving from NutriBase 6.x to NutriBase 7.x would be an "upgrade." There is a fee for upgrading (moving from one major version to the next), but it is only about half the cost of a first-time purchase. The NutriBase 7 Upgrade can only upgrade your software if you have NutriBase 6 installed... the normal NutriBase 7 Upgrade cannot upgrade NB5 or earlier editions.

You can upgrade from NB5 to NB7, but you'll need the special NB5-to-NB7 upgrade package. If you are an NB5 Clinical Edition user and you never upgraded to NB6 Clinical, you will need to purchase the special NB5-to-NB7 Upgrade if you wish to move your data from NB5 to NB7. You can purchase the NB5-to-NB7 Upgrade for $495. We will email you instructions with step-by-step instructions for converting your NB5 into NB7 format. If you are using the Clinical SE Edition now, you can upgrade to the latest Clinical Edition... it will handle your web-based questionnaire just fine.

The NutriBase End User License governs the usage of the NutriBase software.
