| Double-click on a recipe from the Recipe Manager to edit it. Change serving sizes. Add ingredients, delete ingredients, graph them, generate nutrient reports. Add these items to the Shopping List. Update the client's diary. Compose the recipe. Composing the recipe lets you determine where all the fat or sodium in the recipe is coming from. When you compose a recipe, you select a nutrient. NutriBase then analyze s the recipe, ingredient-by-ingredient, to determine the amount of the specified nutrient that exists in each ingredient. It then ranks (sorts) the ingredients in ascending or descending order (as you specify) and tells you the actual amount of the specified nutrient and the percentage of the total recipe that each ingredient contains. Note too, the inclusion of the PCF Ratio (the percentage ratio of Protein, Carbohydrates, and Fat) and the target PCF Ratio. |
