The Clinical and higher edition editions of NutriBase provide a utility called the Client Contact Manager. This utility allows you to export your client contact information to a file suitable for use with a database application that could be used to generate mailing labels. This makes is easier for you to do a monthly newsletter, a periodic letter, or a special offer to selected clients. You can also copy an individual client's contact information to the Windows Clipboard for pasting into a letter to a client. ![]() This dialog box lets you make decisions regarding your contact list. Select individuals for editing. Type in the appropriate information to the right. Click the Copy Button to copy the client's name and address (in "inside address" format) to the Windows Clipboard. Open your word processor (you can use the integrated word processor that comes with NutriBase) and press "Ctrl-v" to paste the address into your letter. Click the "Export Mode" radio button to export the data to a file suitable for use with a database or spreadsheet program. Select the criteria you wish to export by clicking the boxes on the right side of the box. To select an individual, click on the individual's name. To select a range of clients, click the first name, then hold the Shift key down while clicking on the last name in the range. To "cherry-pick" names, hold the Ctrl key down and click on the names you wish to select. (All these selections are Windows-standard.) Clicking the Export Button will send the information to a file (whose name and location you determine). Import this file into your database application to print your labels. |
